I’m competing to get into the top 11 out of among around 40,000 applicants, who are without doubt mass spamming all their friends, their enemies, and their wonderful blog readers.;) Those 11 lucky people will get to work at the Great Barrier Reef as caretakers of the environment. Ten (10) will be picked by Tourism Queensland and one who gets the most votes on-line will become the 11th. Considering that I had 3 days to deadline when I learned about this, I think I made a pretty decent video application with the help of my ever-supportive girlfriend, and I was able to submit it just in time.

I’m not sure what those Tourism Queensland people are looking for, and I’m hoping that my video turns out better than the rest, but I prefer having an insurance policy and that’s where you guys come in! I need you all to go check out my video (not necessarily to view nor critique it) and give me 5 stars, and to also tell your friends about me! Come on people, unless you’re one of the applicants, it wouldn’t do you any harm to give me 5 stars (application period is over anyway). Pretty please begging on my knees!

Note: Their system seems to be tracking by IP. So if you are unable to vote, please vote for me from your house, your office, your nearest Starbucks/Krispy Kreme/Coffee Bean, or better yet all of ‘em. Just not all of you from the same place, it won’t work. And tell your friends too! Also, I’m not sure but I think they reset the logging daily, so you can vote everyday!
